I have not tried anything better

I have not tried anything better. They had plenty of activities and the instructors were very good. The apartment was okay but you could hear a lot of noise coming from the street eg. sirens from ambulances.

Professional school with great care for students.

Professional school with great care for students. Competent staff, both academically and when it comes to administration. There are room enough for young people as well as older. The language school is central and that is very convenient when you want to get around in Rome. The accomodation was nice and tidy.

It has been an incredible experience!

It has been an amazing experience! The school uses a great pedagogical method where you are forced to participate as a student. The two teachers I had, Filomena and Antonella, are both incredible. They act and both of them show a great nerve and make use of vivid gestures. I would give them 6 of 5 if possible!

A good experience

It was a good experience but the pedagogical approach is very much based on rote learning.

Competent and kind instructors. The cafeteria was really good. The food served was good and cheap. The school is very central.

Only good things to say about this school

The trip has been exceeding all expectations. It has given me a lot academically and there was room enough for relaxing and social get-together with other students. I can only think of good things to say about the school. I was very happy with my accomodation where my friend and I had a flatshare. It was right behind the Vatican and next to the metro. We will definitely come back next year but we will do three weeks instead.

I was satisfied with the course, but the school chose a teaching style with a lot of memorization

An amazing week in Rome! Nice school, nice people in the administration, the cantine and the teachers. Challeging and educational lessons, cultural experiences with students from the entire world. Try it. It is an experience for life! But do it for two weeks or more, because one week was not enough.

I went to the language school in Rome with mixed expectations, but it turned out to be a good week, where I heard Italian in many ways.

Italian for beginners in Rome

Professional managed language school in the heart of beautiful Rome at Termini with extremely capable and inspiring teachers . The use of modern forms of language learning with listening exercises , dialogues , few exercises and finely prepared written materials , etc. . The lessons are varied and filled with good educational skills. The training is very intense with full concentration . There is in general a nice comfortable and cozy atmosphere at the school and among the students , who come from all over the world and consists of young and middle-aged people. You are divided into groups by level . I was unfortunately only there for one week, because I had to go to work. Most people are there for many weeks in a row , as the Italian language is not the easiest to learn. It requires more than a one week stay. I must go there again :-) The school has just had its 40th anniversary - May 2014 which is said to be well done. Very recommendable school as I said. I am a language teacher myself, so I know what I'm talking about in terms of language learning and methods , and they are very competent at this international language school Rome.

Dilit International in Rome is just amazing. Great lessons, where you get to speak. The teachers and the other staff are so kind. One week is enough to get into it, but I will definitely go for 3 or 4 weeks next year. In one week you get comfortable with everything and then it is a shame that you have to go home again.

I felt comfortable and it seemed that everybody else did too. If you don't feel comfortable its hard to learn a new language. Everybody was nice and welcoming and the administration was helpful with all sorts of things. The classes went by quickly, because the teachers made sure that you were actively taking part in the lessons! The cantine was great; good food and drinks and low prices. Besides this, they also had nice outside areas where you could enjoy your food and talk to other students.
