Good school!

 Course Type General English

The school is really good! It is centrally placed, the teacher that taught me was very good, and I learned a lot. It was a mixture of blackboard teaching, written exercises which was everything from knowledge of the language to grammar, and group exercises. The thing I thought was incredibly good was their follow-up conversations. We had tests every week and every other week you had a talk about your strengths and weaknesses. That way they could adapt their instructions so that you get the most out of your stay. I can definitely recommend it!

I entered a class that had already started, which my stay was characterized by. The classrooms were cold. The academic subjects that were presented seemed a bit random.

A Super Duper London trip

Edgware Accademy is a school where there is room for all personalities, which is an important factor when one's classmates come from many different cultural backgrounds. Already the first day you will become a part of your new study environment and it is great that you are being taken so good care of, when you are new and have to stand on your own two feet. The academic level was adequate for me. I found out that there were some things I was really good at, such as pronunciation. On the other hand, some of my classmates from other countries were far better at grammar. Luckily, that my teacher was quite good at adapting severity based on the individual student's strengths and weaknesses. The school was good in planning social events at fair prices and sometimes even free. It is a good and informal way to meet new people while giving one the opportunity to see another part of London. The city itself is a great city and I am quite sure that it is not the last time that I will stay there for a longer period. One of the best thing about the experience is the relationships one creates. I know that there will always be an open seat / bed for me, if I should come by my classmates’ countries and that is nice to know. All in all a fantastic experience, which highly can be recommended.
