The first day we had to be there at 8, I think (The time is irrelevant) The first thing we were asked to do was to fill out a sheet to tell them how our Spanish level was, even though we already did that when we signed up. It took one minute to tell them that we didn't know anything. After that we waited for one and a half hour until the lessons started. One and a half hour where I could have been sleeping ;) We were so lucky that the beginners class only had four students, but at lunch time only me and my wife were left. since one student were at the wrong school and one student was not a beginner after all. So it ended up with private lessons. We showed up 8.30, as agreed, on the second day. When we see our teachers she looks at us with a strange look and tells us that the classes don't start until 9.30 on Mondays. Apparently she told all four of us Monday morning. IN SPANISH!!!! And one last thing. We only had 20 lessons and only had to learn basic words and phrases. We think that the grammar part was too much and too much time were spent on it. First of all, Spanish grammar is really hard. Second of all, its not that relevant when you don't have that many lessons. I know that this doesn't sound very positive, but at the end of the week we traveled to Buenos Aires and were done with the lessons, then we thought that we had learned what we expected and a little extra. No, we did not talk to locals, but we knew enough to read the menu card, buy bus tickets and in general get around and understand what happen. So we were definitely satisfied.
